ADOPT-A-VISTA PROGRAM

"A view to call your own while preserving the legacy of the Tahoe Rim Trail"

How would you like to have a place to call your own, where you can sit quietly and enjoy the views above the most spectacular lake in the world? Or perhaps you would like to have a place to remember or honor someone special. 

Through our Adopt-A-Vista Program, we have selected special places along the trail that have breathtaking views and a convenient spot to sit. Appreciate your own special place in the mountains above Lake Tahoe while helping to support the Tahoe Rim Trail Association.

An individual, family or business can adopt a vista and have their name permanently listed  " in honor of " or " in memory of " on the kiosk at the nearest trailhead.

As an Adopt-A-Vista donor, you will receive a 16"x 20" photo plaque that includes a picture of your vista and a map showing your GPS vista coordinate. Your name and adopted vista will be recognized on the Tahoe Rim Trail website and in the newsletter. 

Our goals in the next few years include developing more access trails and day hikes, moving all road portions of the trail to single-track trail, and establishing a permanent maintenance program. Your tax deductible donation to Adopt-A-Vista will help us achieve those goals.
